Forecasting and Finding Association between Sales and Returns The study reviewed historical Sales and Returns activities between 2003 and 2005, for Company X that specialises in the manufacture and distribution of Computers. The study period followed an industrial decline in the computer industry of 2001/2, which the study immediately realised had a knock on effect that saw the company scaling down production capacity and resultant workforce. This spin off effect thus determined the optimum level of activity for Company X during the following years (2003-5)
